HAY DAYS 2008

Because club members worked many long hours, Hay Days was another successful event.  As the pictures show many members were on hand all the time from Friday morning until it closed on Sunday night.  A special Thank You to Arctic Cat for loaning loaning five wheelers to use.  At one point I seem to remember Scott Johnson saying that there were fifteen wheelers with trailers and two without available to haul garbage,  This meant that there were 12 personal 4 wheelers and 15 personal trailers being used.  On the Arctic Cat machines there was over 500 miles logged.  Again there was a little competition among members to see who could put together the ultimate garbage hauling trailer.  Winner?

Under the cover of the tent, members gathered to take a break, enjoy a cool water, pop, maybe a snack or an outstanding meal.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner was server on Saturday and Sunday.  Members brought salads, cookies, cakes to compliment the main courses.

Scott Johnson (Trashmaster) did an outstanding job.  They put in many hours of personal time to get everything to fall into place.
