As of
Wednesday night around 6:30 PM
Hay
Days was officially over
with the last sweep of the grounds.
The Sno Barons
expected nothing but the best and they received nothing less than the
best.
Now that I’m
cleaned up and rested I have to look back at the past weekend
and say wow what an event.
An event that takes months of planning and the
members coming together from a club like ours, to make it work.
Driving away and looking across the grounds Wednesday night, it
was hard to believe what had taken
place.
Looking at what took
place was the result of a lot of people helping out.
I would like
to say thanks to each and every person that helped out to make
this possible. Also the use of all the trailers
and ATV’s that were bought out and used. Without them I don’t
know how it would have gotten done, thanks to all the people for
bringing
them. I want to thank Mike Read for co-chairing, grills and
ticket sales, the food committee and everyone that helped her,
nobody went hungry (OK maybe Tim one afternoon). And food
committee
for breakfast every morning.
Someone would pull in to the camp site before the sun and most
people got up to make sure we would be fed when the time came.
Rick Aberle for
his
equipment for the bleachers .
Thanks to all the past Trashmasters I learned many things from.
I would like to thank the ACE drivers for helping the way they
did. Also Arctic Cat for the use of the ATV’s. And thanks again
to each and every one that were involved.
To all the
members of the Andover Sno-Dragons please pat yourselves on
the back for a job well done. This is a great club we all belong
to, and we can do so many things when we come together and work
side by side. It makes the jobs easy and fun and unforgettable
for many. I hope throughout
the year I will see all of you again sometime, before the next
Hay
Days.
Thanks to all!
Scott.
