HAY DAYS 2009
The Sno Dragons loaded more than 24
tons of garbage and 2+ tons of cardboard.
I would like to extend a hearty "Thank you" to all of the Sno
Dragons, family and friends that contributed to the success of the
HayDays event again this year. I want to extend a special "Thank
you" to those individuals that provided their own equipment for
"Trash for Trails". The support of our traditional corporate
sponsors was pretty slim this year with Arctic Cat being the only
only one to step up with 4 ATV's. Yet the members of this Club made
it possible to have 17 ATV/trailer combinations available to haul
those 24 tons of trash to the ACE trucks.
A couple of other well deserved "Thank you" goes out to our rookie TrashMaster Mike Read and his mentor, from last year, Scott Johnson.
Annette Christensen, our Chief Cook and Bottle Washer, I believe
this is the first time I GAINED weight at HayDays. Thank you for
ensuring that all the Sno Dragons were properly fed and watered
during this event.
Next year will present an entirely new set of problems and
logistical nightmares. I have great confidence that the members of
this Club will once again pull together and, not only secure the job
but, execute the tasks with the same enthusiasm and dedication that
was displayed this year.
