On Saturday, October 12, 2002, the Andover Sno Dragons got together for their fall party. The party encompassed many reasons. The club wanted to thank everyone who participated in Haydays, in appreciation of their efforts. We also have several new members who have joined recently, and we wanted to have a chance to welcome them and get to know them. Many people just like a reason to get together with their buddies and laugh.
Whatever the reason, people came and had a good time. Mike and Cathy Fix were generous enough to host the party at their home again this year, having ample room in their yard and garage for many people. There was plenty of food, as the event was catered this year by Famous Dave's BBQ! The full meal was absolutely wonderful, featuring beef brisket, pulled chicken, and chopped pork sandwiches -- as well as beans, potato salad, Cole-slaw, and corn bread muffins. In addition to all of that fabulous food, many party guests brought a dessert to share, and the table was overflowing with goodies. There was more than enough food for many return trips to the buffet for everyone.
The entire yard was a party, as many guests chatted around the bonfire, kids ran around playing, and laughter was heard from everywhere. Thank you very much, Mike and Cathy, for the fabulous party!!!
